O Indie Game Awards 2025 reforçou mais uma vez a força e a diversidade da cena independente ao premiar dezenas de jogos e estúdios que marcaram o ano, incluindo o grande destaque de 2025: Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Organizada pelo coletivo Six One Indie, a cerimônia reuniu desenvolvedores, músicos e criadores para celebrar projetos que se destacaram não só pela qualidade técnica, mas também por impacto cultural, inovação e representatividade.
Entre diversos títulos promissores, o grande vencedor da noite foi Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, que manteve sua sequência de vitórias e levou o prêmio de Jogo do Ano, além de também conquistar a categoria de Melhor Jogo de Estreia.
Apesar de ter rendido polêmicas durante o The Game Awards por ser indicado em categorias como Melhor Indie e Melhor Estreia Indie, o RPG do estúdio Sandfall Interactive mostrou, novamente, que é visto como um grande projeto independente na indústria – mesmo com orçamento na casa dos US$ 10 milhões e apoio de uma publisher.
